US Duplex Outlet
The 4181US Duplex Power Outlet features copper contact surfaces, plated with rhodium over silver, for improved electrical contact and current transfer. Amazing grip tension provides solid contact and superb plug retention on even the heaviest of cables.
Configurable in many ways; the top & bottom outlet can be left joined (as with a standard duplex) using the included jumpers, or by removing the jumpers the two sockets can be electrically isolated from each other, allowing two separate dedicated lines to be connected to a single duplex. The 4181 also offers optional isolated grounds. The outlet can be grounded to the mounting bracket, or isolated from it thanks to dual independent ground pins.
Pro Tip: Mount the 4181 duplex upside down and the ground pin on the cable will provide strain relief for heavier power cords.
